Les Bonnes Femmes is a French crime drama directed by Claude Chabrol.[1] It was one of the earliest and most revered films of the French New Wave, although it was a financial flop on its initial release.
The film tells the story of four single Parisian women and their domestic and romantic encounters. It has a mix of melodrama, absurd comedy and tragedy that was common among the early, experimental New wave films.
